About Masha Tea

Beautiful teas by a naturopathic doctor.

Masha Tea is a tea shop in Brooklyn, New York. It is listed at 681 Morgan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222, which places it among the local businesses of Brooklyn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Masha Tea is the best! They have my absolute fave Matcha blend around and the woman who runs it is lovely! Such great care is taken to source and package the ingredients. Highly recommend!

Masha tea is worth every penny! Each bag contains thoughtfully blended unique teas. Not only is the taste of these teas excellent, the environmental impact of the teas had obviously been considered as the bags are compostable, herbs sourced locally etc. Maria the owner is also lovely and is highly knowledgeable about teas and naturopathic medicine She was happy to answer any questions I had and her recommendations were stellar. The green teas are some of the best I have ever had and I will surely be going back for some of her specialty blends I can’t find elsewhere!

Masha tea is amazing! The only tea I drink! I always have Darjeeling, Green and Skin Tea at home. These are high quality teas and you can taste it. Masha matcha is hands down the best matcha I have tried.

I love Masha Tea! The quality of the ingredients is outstanding. One of my favorites is the Skin Tea which has licorice and burdock root (great for your skin). PS They also make a delicious Matcha.

This review is in particular to the farmers market on the weekend. Where do I start? Over priced tea that is a joke, the iced tea that is fairly good but is kept in a Gatorade container and unpleasant to the eye. I’ve met the woman who sells the tea at the market and she is lovely and was so sweet to tell me a bit of info about each tea. I’ve done further research and the marketing for these products falls flat and dull. If I am paying an arm and leg for matcha, I expect a great amount and better packaging of the tea. Also, the manager should take better care of the employees. I saw the attendant struggling to pack up in the rain. Ridiculous. I will definitely support somewhere else
